Getting Started
Please take a few minutes to read this quick checklist before you start using our iPrints Professional/ROES software.
Is ROES the right software for you?
1. Now is the best time to decide whether you should be using this professional version of iPrints…or if you should select our easy-to-use, consumer-oriented iPrints software.
Are you a working pro, a studio or an advanced amateur? Then, iPrints Professional/ROES is the best software for you.
Please register online by filling in our Customer Application Form.
This will allow us to process your application while you’re learning ROES and will save you time later by giving you your Customer ID# (necessary to actually place orders.)
You can also click on the My Information button in ROES and fill in your information. Then, just telephone us at (800) 327-1776 for your Customer ID Number.

Are you a family picture-taker or casual photographer?
ROES Professional software may be a bit more than you need if all you really want is an easy-to-use program for ordering and sharing your 4" x 6" vacation pictures or selecting the occasional enlargement.
We have two amateur iPrints programs that have virtually no learning curve and offer more online sharing features than our pro version. These consumer-oriented programs will give you the same high quality prints we offer to professionals who use ROES but with greater simplicity. Please click here to choose our standard (non-professional) iPrints software.

2. Can your computer run ROES?
ROES software will run equally well on either a PC or a Mac OS X system.
You should have a minimum 500MHz speed processor with 256MB RAM and the latest Java Runtime loaded from Sun, available here (Apple Java can be obtained here).
Apple OS X 10.3 or higher, Linux, and all current versions of Windows will support the ROES application. Be sure to maintain enough free drive space to build, save, and retain order files.

Read one of our tutorials before you begin using iPrints Professional/ROES. These easy, illustrated instruction sheets will give you valuable tips on how to use ROES.

This is a quick start guide that will show you the Pager’s custom design tools.
The Pager  option lets you use Design Your Own templates, including custom effects such as strokes and drop shadows and collages containing multiple pictures. You’ll be able to design both composite collages and montage prints that you’ll be able to save and reuse time and again.
We’ll also show you how to use the Save  button so you can re-use your new template for future assignments. |
